where there's change there's hope

okay, we have a new president (almost) and he's promised change (sort of) and he seems to have brought out the "silenced" majority
somehow, he's been able to put aside those "ghosts" from his past
i think he's a sincere man...i think he truly believes he can change this country...and i truly believe he will control the urge to become a "savior to his race" (well, half-race)
as good americans, we should al get behind him..it can only help us all in the long run.

now, as for me, after lawyering for 25 years, i've seen the good, the bad and the ugly....having been born and raised in a housing project in the industrial city of bridgeport, connecticut i was lucky to have caught some breaks and blessed enough to have some good influences in my life...i know that one bad decision would have ended me up on the streets or in prson as many of the guys with whom i grew up....i am white and so couldn't take advantage of the well-deserved oppurtunities afforded minorities...but i pushed on as we all should
